Geocaching the Tundra A GPS-assisted treasure hunting game, several chests of loot will be placed around the campsite. Coordinates and clue sheets are available, and those lacking a GPS unit can arrange a "safari" with GPS-equipped "Sherpas."
5 p.m. Funk Friday Happy Hour: The "Violet's Roadhouse"-themed camp will throw down the old school breaks and beats by Bat Country along with plenty of adult beverages.
Noon Snowball Castle Siege: Using the on-site castle that local medieval re-enactors use during warm months, Frostburn will host the first annual Snowball Castle Siege. All are welcome. Eye and face protection is recommended, although face shots will be disqualified. If you've got cool snowball-flinging toys, bring 'em, but all you'll really need is a steady hand and killer instincts. Snowballs guaranteed.
Afternoon: Kickball games. Exact location and time TBD.
5 p.m. Happy Hour featuring more music by Bat Country.
11 p.m. After Burn Ice Ball: Once the giant snowman is lit ablaze, Bat Country will emcee a post-burn dance celebration.
10 a.m. Polar Bear Plunge: Drown your sorrows, but not yourself, in the brisk and freezing waters of Cooper's Creek in the second annual Frostburn Polar Bear Plunge. Swimsuits optional. Towels recommended, although some spares will be on hand. Prizes to be awarded for Most Immersed Tattoos, Most Immersed Piercings, Best Poetic Recital While Standing/Sinking in Water, and whatever else they can come up with.
