Duquesne Light reports about 3,600 still without power
Monday, February 08, 2010

About 3,600 Duquesne Light customers still are without service this morning, company spokesman Joseph Vallarian said.

Duquesne Light crews worked around the clock to overcome disruptions caused by this weekend's heavy snows. About 57,000 customers have had their electricity service restored since Saturday morning.

Contractors from outside Duquesne Light have been called in to assist line workers with the restorations.

Most customers will have full service by midnight, Mr. Vallarian said. All power should be restored by Wednesday, he said.

To report power outages, customers can call Duquesne Light at 1-888-393-7000, or visit www.duqlight.com.
