• Excela Health is sponsoring a "Get in the Game" sports clinic for athletes in grades 6-12 and parents and coaches from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 7 in the Science Center on the main campus of Westmoreland County Community College, 140 Pavilion Lane, Hempfield. Seminars include "Signs and Symptoms of a Concussion," "Getting Back into Your Game after Injury," "Strength Training and Safety," "Healthy Nutrition for Performance" and "Dangers of Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs." The cost is $5 per individual or $10 per team or family. Registration and an information fair are taking place at 8:30 a.m. The deadline is Aug. 4. Call 1-877-771-1234.
