Quaker Valley to offer elementary after-school program

A meeting to introduce Kids College, an after-school program for students entering first- through fifth-grades in Quaker Valley School District, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Osborne Elementary, 1414 Beaver St., Glen Osborne. Another session will be offered at 7 p.m. Aug 3 at Edgeworth Elementary, 200 Meadow Lane.

Kids College will take place from 3:30 to 6 p.m. school days at Osborne Elementary in the coming school year. The program will offer enrichment activities in a variety of subjects, plus sports and help with homework. It will be open to children in both elementary schools in the district, for a fee. Transportation will be provided from Edgeworth Elementary.
