Construction work will close southbound Route 88 in Castle Shannon starting at 7 p.m. Monday, PennDOT announced today.
The road will be closed from Sixth Street to Castle Shannon Boulevard through late August as part of a continuing $4.7 million resurfacing and widening project. Northbound traffic will be restricted to a single lane, with intermittent stoppages possible.
The overall project is scheduled for completion in October.
